Target Audience:
Beginners and advanced students, members of Mardi Gras clubs or traditional customs groups
Content:
This course is dedicated to traditional mask carving originating in the Austrian and Swiss alpine region, the Swabian region and the Black Forest. No fantasy or Krampus masks will be carved, solely classic models will be used to work from. After carving, the masks will be painted accordingly using acrylic or oil paint which give them their distinctive look.
Important information:
Bring along several drafts or examples of masks from photos, models or books, since this is decisiive for making quick progress and success. No Krampus or devil's masks will be created in this course. All required paint is included in the course price.
