Taster Course Chainsaw Carving
Chainsaw carving interests you, yet you have neither sculpting skills nor experience using a chain saw? You want to see whether this type of sculpting is for you? You would like to have someone to take you, step-by-step, through this new field? Fear not, and come along with us on a journey of discovery!
Einsteiger, die keinerlei Erfahrung mit der Kettensäge und in der Bildhauerei haben, aber gerne einmal großformatig arbeiten möchten.
Zu Beginn des Kurses erhalten Sie eine gründliche Einführung in den sicheren und fachgerechten Umgang mit der Kettensäge sowie den wichtigsten Spezialwerkzeugen. In praktischen Übungen am Holzblock sammeln Sie erste Erfahrungen und erlernen Schritt für Schritt die grundlegenden Techniken für das Schnitzen mit der Motorsäge.
Danach wagen Sie sich auch schon an Ihr erstes eigenes Projekt wobei Ihnen der Kursleiter bei jedem Schritt hilfreich zur Seite steht.
Ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Kurses ist auch die Wartung der Arbeitsgeräte.

In order to keep the noise nuisance for the environment as low as possible and to avoid exhaust emissions, only electric saws are used. Please note this also for the chosen type of wood, if you bring wood to the course yourself (only spruce, poplar and fir). For the course you will need protective clothing such as ear protection, gloves, electric saw, angle grinder and a cable drum! The following equipment can also be bought or rented from us:
