Study Course Modelling in Clay: Gestures / Hands

Content:

During the course week we approach the subject of the hand and its expression step by step. The anatomy is discussed and documented at the beginning, as well as the differences between the male and female hand. Then we analyse how we humans speak with our hands and what hand gestures mean, such as pointing a finger at others is perceived as aggressive. After that, individual projects are defined and developed. At least one individual piece of work is created in the building process during the course week and can be fired at our place afterwards or taken away in a leather-hard state.

Important information:

If the fingers are stretched out and spread, it may be advantageous to work with a wire frame. Material required can be brought along or obtained from us.
