Study Course Modelling in Clay: Gestures / Hands
Weekly course all day
Beginners and advanced
During the course week, we gradually approach the topic of the hand and its expression. We start by discussing and documenting the anatomy and the differences between the male and female hand. We then analyze how we humans speak with our hands and what hand gestures mean, e.g. pointing the finger at others is perceived as aggressive. Individual projects are then defined and developed. At least one of your own workpieces will be created during the course week and can then be fired at our workshop or taken home in a leather-hard state.

If the fingers are outstretched and spread, it may be advantageous to work with a wire frame. The required material can be brought along or purchased from us.
