Large Sculptures in Wood

Content:

The rough shape for your 80 to 120 cm sculpture is carved out first. Then billets and large carving irons are used or you work the surface with rasps and grinding tools.

Important information:

The course takes place together with the "Open Studio" course. The chainsaw can be used to create the rough shape. Please note, however, that this is not a chainsaw course! It is only used for the preparatory work. If you have wood for your large sculpture or suitable tools at home, you are welcome to bring them with you. The course takes place in our sculptor's pavilion. Depending on the time of year, please bring warm work clothes!
