Beginners and advanced, Krampus groups
In the weekly course you will learn to paint masks (from Krampus masks to carnival masks) using various painting techniques or to restore and repaint existing masks. You will discover methods for creating expressive designs. The diverse techniques can be applied in practice. The program ranges from various painting techniques to metal imitations and gilding.
In the short course the main focus will be on the painting or restoration of a mask.
Bring one or more wooden mask(s) to work on for the course. For masks for restoration and masks made of other materials, please contact us in advance.
