Devil and Krampus Mask Carving
Beginners or advanced carvers with some aptitude for craftsmanship, also for devils' and Krampus mask fans
First the wood block is carved coarsely with the chain saw, then the participents continue to work on their design with chisels. After the detailling, the mask is painted and its final touches added. Additionally, pupils receive valuable tips on lining and securing the mask, as well as the mounting of horns and fur.
Bring work clothes and if possible a draft or picture of the mask and horns. Whoever wishes can use their own cembra pine block (pieces: 30cm length, 20cm width and 17 – 25cm depth). Paint/stain is included in the price.
