Hollowed Out Clay Sculpture

Content:

After a short technical introduction to the technique, you will model large-format sculptures and figures (approx. 1 m) in clay in a hollow construction. This gives you the opportunity to have them fired later, if desired. From a simple naturalistic representation based on a model to finding ideas during the construction process - all possibilities are open. The results of the week are taken home in leather-hard condition and can be fired later.

Important information:

Bring along various modeling tools and appropriate work clothes, if available. The course can take place in our sculpture pavilion. We use coarse fireclay as working material, which you can bring yourself or purchase from us.
