Colour on Wood, Marble and Decorative Painting
Short course 2½ days all day
Experimenters who are looking for additional design options
In this course you will learn the various techniques of color design and work with different materials. Color theory, color theory and mixing techniques are taught. You will also practise opaque and glazed painting of sculptures and objects for indoor and outdoor use. Oils, waxes, glazes, acrylic and oil paints are used. You will also learn how to faithfully reproduce a marble surface! This technique is used for interior design and for large-scale decorations in the home. The combing technique can be used to achieve effects that are particularly helpful when restoring old furniture. The preparation of work samples provides the necessary confidence. The focus is on practical practice and trial and error.

Please bring 2 to 3 sculptures, consoles, frames or objects to be designed as part of the course. We provide cardboard rolls, practice boxes and boards. Flat rate for materials: € 20,-
