Color design: with gold and silver plating “Classic technique”

In this course, we will work on the pieces you bring with you. After properly preparing the pieces, we will show you how to apply the chalk grounds and poliment. You will then learn the technique of gilding and silver plating. Only after the gold or silver has been polished will we begin with the barrel painting, including the correct colour preparation, patination and antiquing. The aim is for you to be able to master all the work steps at the end and successfully implement your projects at home.Bring a few medium-sized workpieces with you to choose from. Picture frames, ornaments, sculptures, classic figures such as crucifixes, saints, Madonnas or baroque mirror frames are suitable. The workpieces must be natural.
