People with sculpting skills and some experience in handling a chainsaw
This course uses large-format chainsaw work to explore a theme full of nature and symbolism: the totem culture of indigenous peoples. Based on your ideas, a design with corresponding stylizations is first developed against the background of traditional forms. The rough shape is carved out with a chainsaw, the finishing touches are applied to your totem with an angle grinder and carving iron, and the final touch is added with painting. The result is a wooden memorial measuring approx. 2 m in height and 40 cm in diameter as an individual ornament for your own garden!
Bring your ideas, drawings or pictures for the design of the totem to the course! The course takes place in our sculpture pavilion
