Plaster and Concrete Moulding

Schedule: Already more than 10.000 years ago, plaster was used in ancient Egypt to model parts of the body and to fill it in. Plaster is ideal, to create a negative imprint of clay, wax or platicine models. Depending on the model, this negative imprint can consist of several parts, which have to fit perfectly.
In this course, you will hear about new techniques and material as well as different ways to proceed. Additionally, you will hear about different forms, plaster and silicone, etc. The main focus, is the study of different body parts, as the feed or the hands. Also the modelling of the mentioned modell and the concrete moulding process will be part of the course.
