Efficient woodturning with Swiss stone pine
The course is designed for friends of Swiss stone pine with basic woodturning skills. Explore new techniques and approaches in the processing of this unique wood!
In this workshop, Swiss stone pine wood is the focus. The unique structures and distinctive scent make this wood fascinating. Each participant receives a Swiss stone pine board measuring approximately 100x35x10 cm. Using this, our instructor Stefan Stork explains how to process it resource-efficiently and make optimal use of features such as knots. The course focuses on the economical and targeted use of the material to turn a variety of objects, from bowls to miniatures. The natural growth and knots of the wood are considered and artistically integrated into the design.
